Terms of Service & Artisanal Commercial Agreement
1. Handcrafted Character & Artisanal Variations
Every piece offered by Bouquetberets is individually shaped from 100% organic merino wool felt and hand-embroidered with botanical motifs using French knots, silk ribbon roses, and fine embroidery threads. Because each item is hand-stitched by an artisan in Paris, minor organic variations in thread shading, stitch density, and exact floral placement are inherent hallmarks of slow fashion and artisanal authenticity rather than defects.
2. Shipping, Dispatch & International Customs Duties
Standard collection orders are prepared and dispatched within 3 to 5 business days from Paris. Bespoke commissions require 2 to 3 weeks of hand-embroidery work.
- European Union Shipping: Delivered via La Poste Colissimo with tracking (2-4 business days).
- International Shipping: Delivered via DHL Express or FedEx International (4-7 business days).
- Customs Duties & Taxes: Shipments outside the European Union may be subject to local import taxes, customs tariffs, or clearance fees levied by the destination country. These additional fees are the sole responsibility of the customer.
3. Care, Washing & Maintenance Instructions
Merino wool and silk thread embroidery require delicate care. Customers agree to adhere to recommended care guidelines:
- Do Not Machine Wash: Machine washing or tumble drying will shrink felted merino wool and destroy delicate silk embroidery.
- Hand Wash Spot Clean Only: Submerge in lukewarm water with gentle wool detergent if necessary. Gently press excess water without wringing.
- Reshaping: Reshape over a round bowl or head mannequin and dry flat away from direct sunlight.
4. Returns, Exchanges & Bespoke Policy
Our return policy respects consumer rights while accounting for handcrafted goods:
- Ready-to-Wear Collection Items: Returnable within 14 days of receipt in unworn condition with original tags intact. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
- Bespoke Commissions & Custom Sized Items: Because bespoke berets are custom-embroidered to your specific size and floral preference, custom commissions are final sale and non-refundable unless defective upon arrival.
